The Challenge
- Three booming brands under management, each requiring an active involvement from top management to stay on track. However, the pen-and-paper processes inhibit timely analysis and prompt action
- With brands sharing the same ingredients, Grit Hospitality recognized the need to aggregate their orders in order to reduce their food costs. However, the chaotic nature of bringing together the order requirements of each brand did not allow for the operation to be streamlined.
- Excel spreadsheets often met with human error, delays in delivery, and hidden discrepancies; leading to significant cost-cutting opportunities missed and delayed investigations.
The Solution
- Digitization of the entire procurement process, enabling the mass ordering of ingredients, reducing overall ingredients prices.
